We did it!!

Ten months of preparation and a wonderful wedding week in Fiji has led to the arrival of Mr and Mrs Wells in Bangkok yesterday evening.  The hardest part of leaving both Fiji and Australia was saying goodbye to our family and friends. We will miss everyone terribly and hope to catch-up with as many people as possible along the road.

We've just added the Our Wedding page to this site for anyone who wants to check out our wedding pictures and soon to be videos. http://pamelaanddavertw.blogspot.com/p/our-wedding.html

David and Pamela Wells

Now to the start of our adventure! We are looking forward to the next six weeks here in South-East Asia and have come-up with the following travel path to keep us busy through Mid-September:
  • Bangkok, Thailand
  • Hua Hin, Thailand
  • Kanchanaburi, Thailand
  • Chiang Rai, Thailand
  • Chiang Mai, Thailand
  • Hanoi, Vietnam
  • Da Nang/Hoi An, Vietnam
  • Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
  • Siem Reap/Angkor Wat, Cambodia
  • Koh Chang, Thailand
  • Bangkok, Thailand
I'd like to say our first night in Thailand started with an amazing adventure but it really didn't. We spent about 90 minutes in a cab (45 minutes just in traffic) on our way to the Chatrium Riverside Resort where we ordered room service, watched the rain come down and fell asleep.

Today we are off to the Six Senses Hua Hin (I'm not too sure yet how we're getting there) where relaxation will be the number one goal.

Now that we're on the road we'll do our best to update this blog on a regular basis with photos and stories from our travels. While we're at it we'll also try to throw in some useful information on how we did this so hopefully one day you can do the same.

Cheers for Now!

Pamela and Dave

  1. I was going to say "Big Sister's watching you" but that sounds a bit creepy when it's a couple on their honeymoon doesn't it, so instead I will just say "enjoy" xox

Congratulations to you both! Sorry we couldn't be there. House coming on well, we'll be well settled when you get back so come & see us then. We sent a card to your Mum Pam, but copied out the words so she can email them to you. They were printed in silver so wouldn't have scanned. You have a wonderfully exciting trip ahead of you and we'll be following it. Safe travels. Val & Eddie
