Welcome and thank you for visiting our site. Pamela and I will be using this site to document our adventures and keep our friends and family updated on what we hope is a year long Honeymoon through six continents and over 30 countries. We're getting married the 2nd of August at a resort in Fiji. Thankfully many of our friends and family will be joining us for our wedding celebration. From Fiji we will be returning to Australia for a couple of days and then we're off on our journey together!! Hopefully to the time of our lives.

There will not be many updates to this site ahead of August but we are hoping to regularly update the site once we start traveling. Updates will include photos, videos, reviews and anything else we think relevant about a particular location.

For those of you interested please don't hesitate to subscribe to our blog with your email address or by following us with your particular RSS feed or blog reader. The links on the top of this page give some more detail on our lives and our planned travel path.

Many thanks to our family and friends, for without your love, inspiration and support none of this would be possible.

  2. I know that the trip hasn't started yet, but how about throwing a bone to those of us that keep checking the website, hoping for some new shred of information? Maybe you can update us on your packing? Or your laundry status in preparing for packing? Have you already informed your postman of your intentions? These are things your loyal fans need to know!!

  3. I agree with Bryan on this one.

I hope you will keep a detailed journal that probably should have already begun filling up with how one goes about planning for an around the world honeymoon.

I bet there are lots of folks who can learn about mileage credits, pre-registrations, setting up travel arrangements months ahead of actual travel and the like.

Back when your parents you little, travel agents would do all the work booking flights, hotels, rentals and tour reservations. Today you two have done better than other agents can do by using your own computers and knowledge. Spreading the wealth of your knowledge can be a good thing.

See you on the morning of July 28 on the far side of the world!

  4. Hi Pamela and Dave,
Well it's the 2nd of August, THE BIG DAY, we are thinking of you all over there, and watching for the first glimpse of something to see on this site, about this lovely day. We have read through your story a few times now and looked at yor travel path and we will be following you both all the way, so watch out and look behind, because we won't be far behind you!!! Today we will be sharing that special little chocolate you gave us. We kept it for today so we can have it while we imagine we are in Fiji with you all.. Love You Both and have a great day... John & Shona xoxo

  5. To Pamela and Dave,

Just as well Uncle John is not with you in person. He has been known to hide under a pile of balloons in the back seat of the honeymoon car and set off with the honeymoon couple!

Did the seagulls come to the beach and pounce on your toes?

    Love always

  9. Dear Pamela and Dave
Seasons greetings. I am off to South Africa on Monday via Cairo and will be thinking of you in Jordan. I often think of our time together in Nepal and have greatly enjoyed looking at the River Seti photographs.
    Love from Ritchie rro@aber.ac.uk
